the face behind the dream
I'm Samantha Severing, a proud graduate of Paul Smith’s College and a lifelong lover of the Adirondack Park, where I’ve made my home. My connection to this incredible region runs deep, shaped by my family’s roots here and enriched through my time at PSC.
Let me introduce you to hit the dack—a dream turned mission to create an outdoor apparel brand, that embodies promoting recreational opportunities in the ADK. This isn’t just about printing “Adirondacks” on clothing. It’s about crafting high-quality designs that resonates with the essence of this park and inspires people to engage with it responsibly. With the right support, I believe hit the dack can go beyond apparel—playing an active role in preserving the park’s natural beauty and uplifting its communities.
Currently, I enjoy working as a designer for outdoor companies in the region, collaborating with fellow enthusiasts to promote recreational opportunities. My goal is to expand hit the dack throughout the Adirondacks, forging partnerships with local organizations to drive meaningful change. Together, we can ensure this brand not only celebrates the park but actively contributes to environmental conservation and community well-being.
I’m incredibly excited for this journey and would be honored to have your support in making this vision a reality. Let’s create something that truly honors and protects the Adirondacks for generations to come.
With love,
Sam
